STI SpecSeal 2″ FireStop Ready Split-Sleeve
The STI SpecSeal® 2″ FireStop Ready® Split-Sleeve is a complete firestop pathway solution designed to seal cable penetrations through fire-rated walls and floors while allowing installation around existing cables. Ideal for data centers, telecom rooms, and structured cabling installations, this split-sleeve system helps maintain the integrity of fire-rated assemblies while keeping cable pathways organized and protected.
The two-piece split design allows the sleeve to be installed around existing cable bundles without disconnecting or rerouting cables, making it perfect for retrofit installations and network upgrades. The sleeve halves snap together and are secured with two-piece escutcheon plates and intumescent gaskets, creating a tight seal against the wall or floor assembly.
Each kit includes preformed zinc-plated steel sleeve halves, mounting escutcheon plates with intumescent gaskets, and SpecSeal® firestop putty to seal the ends of the sleeve around cables. The intumescent materials expand when exposed to heat, helping block flames, smoke, and hot gases while maintaining code-compliant fire protection.
Designed for both new and existing cable penetrations, the 2-inch split sleeve works with wall or floor assemblies up to approximately 10 inches thick and is UL tested for firestop applications.
