The LinkIQ tester uses frequency-based measurements to qualify cabling performance from 10BASE-T through 10GBASE-T, helping technicians determine whether installed cabling can support required network speeds. In addition to cable qualification, the tester provides wiremap diagnostics, distance-to-fault measurements, nearest switch identification, VLAN information, ping testing, and advanced PoE validation up to IEEE 802.3bt Class 8 (90W). Integrated IntelliTone digital and analog toning simplifies cable tracing in crowded telecom rooms, patch panels, and enterprise network environments.
