- SC Connectors: Mark 20mm and 38mm from the end of the cable
- LC Connectors: Mark 20mm and 40mm from the end of the cable
- Strip insulation and acrylate coating to 20mm
- Cleave fiber to 10mm
- Strip insulation to second mark
- Take out the black jig on the connector on the opposite side of the window
- Insert fiber into connector using guide rails until fiber “bends”
- Press the window to engage mechanical connection
- Screw on the boot
